Mobile Health Units Coming to Colorado!

The Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) received federal grants from SAMHSA to help increase access to treatment for opioid use disorder. One of the grant’s funded projects is to build and implement mobile units to provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services in communities with limited resources across Colorado. The funding helped to produce six mobile health units which will be owned and operated by four providers in the state.

OBH partnered with Signal Behavioral Health Network and West Slope Casa (MSO on the Western Slope) to manage the mobile health unit project regionally, and work closely with the providers who will own and operate each unit.
