The Colorado Office of Behavioral Health will be traveling to diverse areas of the state in September and October to discuss the behavioral health success, needs and opportunities in each community.
The goals of these community forums are:
- Hear from clients, families, staff of facilities and service providers about area needs, successes and opportunities
- Get ideas for next steps, legislation and creative solutions
- Share what services are available in the community
- Reduce stigma about what mental illness, substance use disorder and other behavioral health issues look like and who is affected
Who should attend: Individuals and professionals with an interest in regional substance use and mental health systems including providers, administrators, people with lived experience, policymakers and advocates.
